As part of FitzFest, a local community music and culture festival, the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre will be hosting “Orchestrating the Brain” a collaborative workshop of musicians and neuroscientists on Thursday 31st May in the Ground Floor Lecture Theatre from 5:00 PM.
The event will consist of talks and live demonstrations from musicians and neuroscientists and explore the subject of music, cognition and the brain. Followed by a panel discussion answering questions you’ve always wanted to know about music and the brain, the event will conclude with a drinks reception offering the opportunity to speak with musicians and neuroscientists.
