Abdullah joined the Akrami lab with the aim of unraveling the intricate workings of the brain. His previous research at the University of Oxford delved into the complexities of psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety. In his current role as a Research Assistant, Abdullah explores how mice implicitly learn sensory statistics, utilizing techniques like electrophysiology, pupillometry, and optogenetics to deepen our understanding of sensory processing and learning.
