Bryan O'Connell

Bryan works alongside Doug Ward and Mark Bartlett, supporting the broader central administration team in the successful operation of the building. 

He is responsible for the management of facilities across the building, including overseeing contracts for security, catering and cleaning services, and utilities, including undertaking contractual review and contractor liaison to ensure service standards are met. As Departmental Safety Officer, Bryan ensures that SWC is compliant with legislation, implements best practice, and coordinates with central UCL Safety Services in relation to health and safety and fire safety for the building.

Prior to joining SWC, Bryan was Account Manager responsible for the electrical, mechanical and fabric services and safe systems of work at the Wellcome Trust main office.
