Morio Hamada
PhD Student
Morio joined the SWC PhD programme in 2019 to pursue his interest in understanding the neural circuits underlying decision making and behaviour.
After completing his undergraduate studies in neuroscience at the University of Oxford, Morio went on to obtain a master's degree in neural systems and computation in Zürich. His master's thesis work with Dr Wolfger von der Behrens examined how novel sensory stimuli are represented in the cortex. During this time he also worked with Dr Asli Ayaz to investigate how animals’ movements are integrated with sensory inputs in the brain.
