Nate Miska
Senior Research Fellow
Nate is currently a Research Associate in the Mrsic-Flogel Lab who is also serving as a postdoc in the International Brain Lab (IBL). Nate completed his PhD in 2018 in the lab of Dr. Gina Turrigiano at Brandeis University, where he studied synaptic and small circuit-level plasticity in rodent visual cortex using acute brain slices.
As part of the IBL, Nate is investigating brain-wide coding schemes for sensorimotor transformations and decision-making in mice. He is using high-density electrode arrays (Neuroixels) and calcium imaging in vivo to uncover behavioral neural correlates within and between relevant brain regions.
