Peter Vincent
Peter joined the SWC in 2019 with an interest in understanding the neural mechanisms underlying inference of contextual change and volatility.
Peter completed the Natural Sciences MSci programme at UCL in 2018, where he majored in neuroscience and minored in probability and statistics. For his master's project, Peter joined Professor Karl Friston and worked on validating hypotheses regarding volatility updating in humans, using pupillometric measurements. Between completing his master's and joining the SWC PhD programme, Peter spent a year in Professor Hal Blumenfeld's lab at Yale, where he worked on developing tools using High Performance Computing for the analysis of large fMRI, EEG and single-unit electrophysiology datasets from both rats and humans.
