Roshni Patel

Roshni joined the SWC as a research assistant in 2025, where she investigates the circuitry underlying social decision making in the Duan Lab. During her BSc in Psychology at Durham University and MScR in Neuroscience at Edinburgh University, she studied the neural mechanisms involved in memory function through 2-photon microscopy, tetrode electrophysiology, and fibre photometry. At the SWC, she will use neuropixels electrophysiology and optogenetics to study competitive social decision making in freely moving mice.
